Kisii

Kisii County is a county in the former Nyanza Province in southwestern Kenya. Its capital and largest town is Kisii. It borders Nyamira County to the North East, Narok County to the South and Homabay and Migori Counties to the West. It has nine administrative sub-counties: Bobasi, Bonchari, Bomachoge Borabu, Bomachoge Chache, Kitutu Chache North, Kitutu Chache South, Nyaribari Chache, Nyaribari Masaba, and South Mugirango. According to the 2019 Kenya Population and Housing Census the population is 1,266,860 with a population density of 958/km2
