We are proud to celebrate the official launch of the Mombasa County Emergency Dispatch Centre and the Mombasa County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Plan, an important step toward strengthening coordinated emergency response across the county.

Since its activation earlier this month, the Dispatch Centre has already enabled real-time coordination of emergency calls and ambulance responses across county health facilities, improving response times, strengthening referral systems, and supporting better patient outcomes.

This milestone reflects what is possible when county leadership, partners, and stakeholders work together to build systems that connect care when it matters most.

We commend the Department of Health Services – Mombasa County for its commitment to strengthening emergency response systems and are proud to support these efforts alongside Malteser International, Jacaranda Health, and other partners who contributed to the renovation and operationalisation of the Dispatch Centre.

Because emergency medical services save lives when they are coordinated, accountable, and designed to work in real time.
